Important Information

There will be 2 Options available. You may choose to pick up Saturday, November 18, 2023 9-11 a.m. at The Reach Center OR Sunday, November 19, 2023 12-2 p.m at Living Word Fellowship Church. You must arrive within the 2-hour time frame and provide your Driver's License & the QR Ticket Code in order to receive a Thanksgiving Gift. If not claimed within the 2-hour time frame, baskets not picked up, will be immediately given to families on the waitlist. The Reach Center will be closed on Monday, November 20, 2022 and no pick up will be available other than Saturday or Sunday. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Some of the criteria for receiving a basket include: older adults over 65 on social security, low-income families, residents of zip codes 77088 or 77091 only for community and for church members who are elderly, widowed, single parents, sick and shut-in, foster/adoptive parents, families in need, unemployed, or those affected by covid.

The Thanksgiving Gift Card and Basket Giveaway is an annual event of Living Word Fellowship Church and The Christian Outreach Center, newly named The Reach Center. Through partnerships with corporations, nonprofits, Living Word Fellowship Church deacon families, members and visitors, we are able to serve hundreds of families in need each year with groceries, food gift cards and Thanksgiving food baskets.
