Thinking about visiting Living Word? Don't know what to expect?
Living Word is a fun and safe place for children and youth to learn a Christian foundation.
A church with over 60 ministries providing ample opportunity to serve others.
A special reception prepared especially for new visitors immediately following each service.
When are the services?
Worship times: Sundays at 7:50 am and 11am
Bible Study times: Tuesdays at 12:00 noon and 7:30 pm
Life Application class times: Sundays 9:30 am and 11:00 am
Can I take communion?
We believe that communion is for all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ,
and all believers are welcome to partake in the Lord?s Supper. We are a
fellowship church, so we fellowship by communion every Sunday at the
beginning of each worship service.
New Members
God commands us, as a major part of the Great Commission, to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). At LWFC, Christians grow from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity through accountable relationships. New members are discipled to ministry areas according to their spiritual gifts.
The New Members ministry will seek out these believers as soon as they join church and will maintain contact with them until they are an active part of a ministry in the church. This also allows each member to develop relationships, learn more about the church, and become part of the church family.
This ministry also seeks and restores members who have stopped attending church and restores members who have gone through church discipline so that they continue to grow up in Christ rather than become overcome with sorrow (2 Corinthians 2:5-11).
New Membership classes are held 1st and 3rd Saturday each month 8:00 am-1:00 pm. Classes are at the LWFC campus.
What classes are available for my children?
You may bring your children to worship with you in the sanctuary, or they may participate in our children?s church. A nursery and pre-school class is also available for babies and toddlers with age appropriate, Bible-based activities and lessons.
What do I wear?
Dress in modest clothing that you feel comfortable wearing. Typically, our members wear everything from suits and dresses to jeans and Capri pants.
What should I bring?
Bring a heart ready to worship and learn about the Living Word of God. A Bible is encouraged, but not mandatory, as all Bible references are read aloud and/or posted on our sanctuary?s screens.
Will I be asked for an offering?
We not expect visitors to contribute to the offering. At LWFC, we follow
Biblical principles on giving. We believe that regular giving is a
personal act of worship to God. We do not pass an offering plate.
Members and regular attendees can give via the offering boxes located at
the back of the church after church services are dismissed.
