Meet the team.
Christopher Kinsey is a Fine Arts Director, music educator, musician, playwright, composer, recording artist, music producer, and worship leader with more than 14 years of experience in fine arts education and extensive experience in musical theatre, music production, performance, and creative arts leadership.
A native of Houston, Texas, Kinsey grew up in the historic Fifth Ward community in a single-parent household, where music became an important part of his life at an early age. He began playing music at the age of four and, by eight, was playing in church alongside his mother. His musical development continued at Kashmere High School, where he was introduced to jazz, further developed his skills as a pianist, and began playing trumpet. Over the years, he expanded his musicianship to include organ, drums, guitar, and other instruments.
Kinsey also received formal piano and music training through the Moores School of Music in Houston, Texas, further developing his musical foundation. From 2004 to 2009, he held a publishing deal with Bad Boy Records, which provided opportunities for professional performance and industry exposure.
Kinsey has served at LWFC since 2010 and is now the Worship Director. In this capacity, he provides leadership for a multifaceted worship and creative arts ministry that includes six choirs, audio and lighting, dance, and additional ministry areas.
Kinsey also currently serves as the Fine Arts Director for The Rhodes School for the Performing Arts, where he provides leadership for a multidisciplinary fine arts program. His work focuses on strengthening instruction, developing educators, building sustainable arts programs, and creating meaningful performance opportunities that allow students to progress from foundational arts education into confident, disciplined performers and creators.
Eric Levels is characterized as a man after the mission and moving of God in the lives of others. He devotes his professional and personal life to inspiring and instructing others to pursue God's plan and purpose for their lives.
Eric graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in Music in 2007. He graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in Houston, TX, with a Master of Divinity in May 2016. He graduated with his Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership with distinction at Liberty University in 2025.
Eric is married to the love of his life, Attorney and Real Estate agent, Katherlene Levels, and they have one son, Caleb, who is thirteen, and a daughter, Lily, who is nine. Eric is a National Gospel Recording Artist who has produced an album and several single releases and is a published Author of the book entitled "A Plan for Success," and contributing author of "Get Your Tech Together."
Eric currently serves as the Executive Director of Digital Learning and Emerging Technology for Tomball ISD. He serves as the Vocal Director of Living Word Fellowship Church for all vocal praise teams and ensemble groups. He serves as the Lead Pastor of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Teague, TX since November of 2020. Dr. Levels also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Biblical Studies Houston and is currently teaching Expository Preaching: Narrative and Epistolary Literature.

Melita is the Worship Ministry Manager at LWFC, where she has been an active member for 15 years. She began her journey in the choir and on the praise team, later serving as the coordinator for the choir, drama, and her Deacon family. Now, as Worship Ministry Manager, she continues to serve wherever the Lord leads.
In her personal life, Melita cherishes her relationships with her two wonderful adult children, Taylor and Jonah. She is happily married to Michael and is a proud bonus mother to Michael Jr., who has blessed them with a lovely granddaughter, Khaliya.
Melita has produced numerous productions for the Drama Ministry at LWFC, including Christmas Cookies, The Gift of Hope, and our inaugural musical The Reckoning. An OBA graduate, she infuses her work with a deep understanding of the Bible, enhancing the artistic message for the body of Christ.
As the founder of In His Will Productions, Melita aims to share the gospel message beyond the church walls. To achieve this, she produced He Said, She Said for Driven Theatre at the Ensemble and has created numerous stories for YouTube. Additionally, she has written lyrics for several songs, including Live for Him, Pain to Praise, and Forever. Collaborating with Kingdom Creatives, an artistic Christian group, she continues to explore innovative ways to share the gospel message.
Melita's extensive theatrical experience includes acting in various productions at Ensemble Theatre and Main Street Theatre, as well as directing for the Fade to Black Theatre Festival Reading Series. Her objective is to create an inclusive environment that invites exploration of faith and creativity.
Melita Washington holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts with a minor in Arts Administration from St. Edward's University, Austin, TX.
I started coming to Living Word Fellowship Church in February 2016. I began attending Bible study more regularly, which was something new for me. I finally joined the church in October 2016.
I learned about Life Application and began attending different events every now and then. The first ministry I thought about joining was Praise Dance, but it would be a while before I actually did. I started getting involved with the Women's and Singles Ministries. I attended events and went to a women's conference for the first time by choice.
Around 2018, I finally joined Adoration and performed my first dance in December. It was around 2019 when I learned about the Young Adult Ministry and decided to join. Toward the middle of that year, I decided to join some other ministries as well.
I joined Media and started on cameras. This was something I stuck with. When Anthony asked me to try working with lights and ProPresenter, I did. I was good with ProPresenter, so he put me on a rotation.
Toward the end of 2019, I went to watch the Drama auditions, and they gave me a role that same day. Then COVID happened.
Once the church returned to normal operations, I kept most of the ministries I was involved in. In Drama, I had some acting roles, but after helping out with different things, I was given the position of Assistant Stage Manager. A couple of years later, I was promoted to Stage Manager and Assistant Director.
I stayed with Media and mostly worked with ProPresenter without returning to cameras. I stayed in Adoration and continued performing. I also stayed with the Young Adult Ministry and continued to grow.
During 2025, Mrs. Melita asked if I would be her assistant. Currently, I am involved in Drama, Media, and Adoration.
