Living Word Fellowship

This ministry will seek to minister to the diverse needs of families. The focus is to grow the family members closer to God and to each other. This ministry will also seek to outline the biblical roles of the family and challenge all members of the family to support God's rule for the home. It provides counseling as well as financial planning for all families who seek assistance in this ministry area. This ministry serves as the counseling center for all issues presented to church leadership.

How To Get Involved
Women's Ministry-Women Touching Women
LWFC Women's Ministry, provides a channel for women to have their special needs met, issues addressed and an instrument by which Women may grow to spiritual maturity. The core values of the Women's ministry consist of receiving sound doctrine, living lives of integrity, and demonstrating compassionate care and love.

First Saturday Fellowships, Bible Study and annual retreats are designed to foster Christian sisterhood.

Financial Planning
To provide guidance, directions, and education to those individuals or couples who are struggling financially and to understand God's will in finances. To assist individuals and couples in developing a household budget and game plan to effectively manage household finances.

Marriage Ministry
This ministry provides proper guidance or direction to those individuals who are seeking to get married, as well as develop an environment for couples to strengthen or resolve issues in their marriage so that each person, as they grow spiritually, can have a productive relationship with each other for God's glory. The goal of this ministry is also to provide counseling and support mechanisms for persons who are getting a divorce or widowed to ensure they become, or remain, active within ministry.

Parenting Ministry
The goal of this ministry is to provide guidance or direction to parents to assist them in understanding their children and how to provide proper guidance to them. Also, help parents understand the uniqueness of each of their children and the needs that each may have and how a parent can best meet that need. In addition, the goal of this ministry is to connect parents with other parents who have gone through and/or experiencing similar situations and develop a support system for each other.

Divorce Recovery
To provide a counseling and support mechanism for persons who are getting a divorce or are divorced. The goal of this ministry is to help those individuals recently divorced become or continue to be an active part of a ministry within Living Word Fellowship Church in order to develop genuine relationships and spiritual growth.

Grief Recovery Support Group
GriefShare is a 13-week, biblically based support group seminar. The format is set up so anyone can join at any time during the 13 weeks. Real people share their stories of how they deal with the pain of losing a family member or friend through death. GriefShare is for people who have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend through death. It is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
